Dadaepo Beach
Busan's western beach for broad shallows, estuary light, and some of the city's best sunsets
Dadaepo is better understood as a wide coastal walk and sunset shoreline than as a beach for a single fixed activity. The open sand, tidal-flat edge, and spacious horizon make it a good place to slow down rather than rush through.
Late afternoon and sunset usually give the strongest sense of place, while the morning is calmer if you want space and a longer walk. It connects naturally with the nearby fountain plaza, the station area, and other western Busan stops.
Beach conditions change with tide, weather, and seasonal swimming notices, so the shoreline can look very different from one visit to the next. Keep the plan flexible if you care about swimming, photography, or a quieter walk.
